Human trafficking and child sexual exploitation, especially on the major highways (think truck stops) is a major issue. This particular report was from just this past week where the police raided a hotel where girls (one apparently 11) were being scheduled for encounters with men. The hotel owners were arrested and the hotel shut down. <BR/><BR/>I try to keep my posting in Portuguese for the weekend. I have at least two audiences in mind with this blog, so it is challenging at times.
